BDSM in Art
Art Site of the Month - November
TracieArt is well established through Tracie's stall at the London Alternative Market (see Fairs section) and other functions, but it deserves to be far more widely recognised. The site contains a selection of her erotic art work, mostly in watercolours and pastel. There is a section that allows you to buy her deservedly famous alternative greeting cards, securely via PayaPal, at very reasonable prices.
A brand new feature is provided by her liaison with Cafe Press to make some of her erotic artwork more widely available. It is now possible to enjoy Tracie's outstanding artwork on a range of items including aprons, calendars, clothing, coasters, mousemats and mugs as well as simply buying a framed copy.
Tracie also designs flyers, alternative wedding/collaring and other party invitations, each designed on an individual level to meet your requirements. She also takes on commissions so why not show your partner just how much they mean to you by providing them with the ultimate gift?
China Hamilton It’s hard to overstate the contribution China Hamilton has made to the world of erotic fine art photography, regarded by his peers as one of the true pioneers of the genre. Often his name is heard in the same breath as other leading exponents such as Helmut Newton. His career to date he has been sponsored by Kodak and in 1997 won the global title of Erotic Photographer of the Year. China chooses mainly monochrome or its alteration by tinting, because in his words "it is an abstraction to an extreme of reality, for light and shade alone generate the illusive vision which is but a suggestion to our minds and as intangible as a dream…………… but then erotic sexuality is the sweetest of dreams."
Disappointed Virginity Disappointed Virginity is the site of Marc Blackie, a UK photographer specialising in B&W prints, almost exclusively on film. His photographs depict a surreal, heightened eroticism in a manner that manages to be both playful and solemnly ritualistic. In elegantly-shot black and white photos – technically clear and unfussy – women with faces as impassive as kabuki masks (and sometimes, indeed, wearing actual masks) are depicted enacting little scenarios of power and contrast: light against dark; soft against spiky; innocent against corrupted; natural against artificial.
Edition Reuss

The Edition Reuss contains a section on erotic art that will appeal to many of you. It is a German site, with a complete English version, that provides sample pages online from the many erotic art books that it publishes.
Many of these books can be bought more cheaply from Amazon.

Ken Marcus Gallery No study of erotic art could be complete without reference to the photography of the great Californian, Ken Marcus. His unique style of erotic photography appears to have its roots in his early interest in the work of Gustav Klimt.
The Ken Marcus Gallery provides access to some of his best work, either as reasonably priced 8x10 prints or larger, signed prints, on archival paper. Images for the connoisseur of erotic art.
Michelle7 - Erotica Michelle7 - Erotica contains the most daring, exhaustive and breathtaking collection of fine art erotica and includes photos by Alexander Feodarov, Tom Bianci, Christian Bahlert and over 250 more high quality photographers. All photographs are displayed as large format, high resolution scans within individual exhibits.
Norbert Guthier Norbert Guthier is a freelance photographer who lives and works mostly in Germany and Spain. He has published a number of fine books of erotic images and good quality previews are available of many of his photos.
On this site, Sardax displays his own unique vision of femdom. Sardax started back in the mid 1980's, producing the occasional drawing now and again, to satisfy his inner fantasies. He always meant it to just be a sideline but thankfully for us he turned professional and his drawings and words have become widely known. The site contains much of his artwork (by subscription). There are also sections for commisioning portraits, fantasy artwork (based on your fantasy) and logos for clubs, websites, etc.
